Michael Vincent Michaud is a jewelry designer whose artistic process sets him apart from others in his field. Unlike most designers who rely on traditional jewelry-making techniques, Michaud uses a unique process of cast glass to create his jewelry pieces. This approach results in stunning jewelry that resembles natural sea glass in its shape, texture, and color. Michaud's cast glass captures bold colors and textures, which, when struck by light, create a radiant glow that makes each glass element of the jewelry shimmer.
To create his artisan jewelry line, Michaud starts by making models from wax molds. The molds are then used to make wax that is cast into glass inside a large kiln. Each glass element is meticulously designed and hand-assembled into the jewelry, resulting in a truly unique and beautiful piece of wearable art.
